Cómo moverse
Once you arrive at the port of La Savina there are three ways to get to your accommodation: taxi, public transport (bus L1) or rental vehicle. The taxi and bus stops are located in front of the maritime station, right where you get off of the ferry. The easiest way to explore the island freely is by renting a vehicle. Las playas
Illetes
Located in the northwest of the island, it is the most iconic beach known for its shallow turquoise waters and magical sunsets. It is located in Ses Salines Natural Park, an area of special environmental protection declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO (1999). A small entrance fee must be paid to access the natural park by car or motorbike. Access on foot or by bicycle is free of charge.

Levante
On the opposite side of Illetes you can discover the quieter beach of this protected area. It stands out with its blue transparent waters and views of the sand dunes. Like Illetes beach, it is located within the natural park, so it is necessary to pay a fee to access by car or motorbike.

Es Pujols
Urban beach with turquoise waters, white sand and views of small islets on the horizon. It has both sandy and rocky areas where you can find the typical dry dock houses (escars) that give a picturesque touch to the landscape. It has also the advantage of being just a few steps away from services such as restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets.

Migjorn
The southern coast of Formentera stretches along 5 kms of beach made up of several coves interspersed with rocky and sandy areas. The most popular are Ca Marí, Arenals and Copinar. In this part of the island you will find many restaurants serving local seafood cuisine and cozy beach bars that are lively even in the off-season.

Ses Platgetes
On the opposite side of Migjorn, there are sandy beaches fragmented by rocky areas, but in all of them you can enjoy the incredible views of the cliffs of La Mola. To get there, you have to go to Es Caló de Sant Agustí, the only coastal town in the area with its fishing port and exquisite gastronomy.

Cala Saona
A small cove hidden among the cliffs. An ideal place to enjoy the best sunsets and to practice various activities such as paddle surfing, kayaking and snorkeling. From here you can explore the underwater caves in the cliffs of Punta Rasa.
